Monday 25 April 2011:

John (McDonnell) and Dan played Battlefleet Gothic, Imperium and Eldar.

John won this game.

Carl and Rob also played Battlefleet Gothic, Chaos Space Marines and Tyranids.  Rob came second.

Gareth and Russell played Warhammer 40 000, Crimson Fists and Black Templars, with Dawn of War and Capture and Control.  Russell won .

Lee and I also played Warhammer 40 000, Necrons and Tau, with Pitched Battle and Annihilation.  I came second.  

 

Monday 11 April 2011:

Dan and Clal played Battlefleet Gothic, Eldar and Chaos Space Marines.  The game ended in draw.

John (Robinson) and Rob played Warhammer 40 000, Space Marines and Dark Eldar, with Dawn of War and Capture & Control.  The result was a draw.

Stuart and Russell played Warhammer 40 000, Raven Guard and Black Templars, with Spearhead and Annihilation.  Russell won this game.

Stephen (Hamilton) and I played a game of Magic the Gathering.  Stephen won the game.

Gareth and John (Robinson) played Battlefleet Gothic, Chaos Space Marines and Space Marines.  The game was a draw.

John (McDonnell) and Dan played Battlefleet Gothic, Imperium and Eldar.  John won.

Carl and  Rob played Warhammer 40 000, Space Marines and Dark Eldar, with Spearhead and Annihilation.  Carl won.

Stephen (Hamilton) and I played two games of Magic The Gathering.  I came second in both games.

 

Monday 21 March 2011:

Gareth, Carl and John (Robinson) (Team A) and John (McDonnell), Rob and Dan (Team B) played a Warhammer 40 000 team game, Crimson Fists, Space Marines and Space Marines (Team A) and Blood Angels, Dark Eldar, Tau and Eldar (Team B), with Pitched Battle and Annihilation.  This game was 9000 points per team and the game ended in a draw. 

Stephen (Hamilton) and I played two games of Magic the Gathering.  Stephen won both games.

Carl and I also played Warhammer 40 000, Dark Eldar and Tau, with Dawn of War and Seize Ground (4 objectives).  Carl won.

Russell and John (McDonnell) played four games of Magic The Gathering, Russell won three games and John won one game.

 

Monday 7 March 2011:

John (McDonnell) and Rob played Battlefleet Gothic, Eldar and Tyranids.  Rob won with his Tyranid fleet.

Gareth and Carl also played Battlefleet Gothic, Choas Space Marines and Chaos Space Marines.  Carl won this game.

John (Robinson) and Dan played Warhammer 40 000, Space Marines and Eldar, with Pitched Battle and Annihilation.  Dan won.

Russell and I played Warhammer 40 000, Black Templars and Tau, with Dawn of War and Seize Ground (5 objectives).  Russell won this game.

Russell and I also played a demonstration game of Magic The Gathering, I had help from John (McDonnell).  Russell came first.

 

Monday 28 February 2011:

Dan and Russell played Warhammer 40 000, Eldar and Black Templars, with Spearhead and Capture & Control.  This was a very enjoyable game, which ended with Dan claiming the win in a close battle.

Stuart and I also played Warhammer 40 000, Raven Guard and Tau, with Spearhead and Capture & Control.  The game was engoyable and ended in a draw.

Unfortunately I only remembered to take photographs at the end of the meeting, so was only able to take two photographs this week.

Russell and Rob Played Warhammer 40 000,

Black Templars and Dark Eldar, with Pitched Battle and Capture & Control.  This game Ended in a draw.

Gareth and Stephen (Hamilton) played Battlefleet Gothic, Chaos Space Marines and Chaos Space Marines.  This game also ended in a draw.

John (McDonnell) and Dan also played Battle Fleet Gothic, Eldar and Imperium.  John won this game.

Carl and I played Warhammer 40 000, Dark Eldar and Tau, with Spearhead and Capture & Control.  I came second. 

 

Monday 14 February 2011:

Russell and Carl played Warhammer 40 000, Black Templars and Dark Eldar, with Spearhead and Annihilation.  Carl won this game.

Gareth and John (McDonnell) played Battlefleet Gothic, Chaos Space Marines and Eldar.  Gareth won the game.

Dan and I played Warhammer 40 000, Eldar and Tau, with Spearhead and Capture & Control.

The game finished on turn 6 with a draw. 

 

Monday 7 February 2011:

Carl and Pavel played Warhammer 40 000, Dark Eldar and Imperial Guard with Inquisition, with Dawn of War and Annihilation. Carl won the game, the result was close though.  

Russell and I also played Warhammer 40 000, Black Templars and Tau, with Pitched Battle and Seize Ground (5 objectives).  This enjoyable game ended in a draw.

Mark and Russell played Warhammmer 40 000, Space Marines and Black Templars, with Pitched Battle and Seize Ground (4 objectives).  Mark's Space Marine army ruined Russell's Black Templars army.

John (Robinson) and I played Warhammer 40 000, Space Marines and Tau, with Spearhead and Annihilation.  John had some bad luck throughout the game meaning I came first.

Dan, Carl, John (McDonnell) and Rob played the Bugmans Bar Game.  Carl won.

Gareth and Carl played Warhammer 40 000, Crimson Fists and Dark Eldar, with Pitched Battle and Seize Ground (3 objectives).  Carl won.

John (Robinson) and John (McDonnell) palyed Warhammer 40 000, Space Marines and Imperial Guard, with Pitched Battle and Capture & Control.  John (Robinson) won this game.

Dan and Russell played a demonstration gmae of Warhammer 40 000, Eldar and Imperial Fists, with Pitched Battel and Capture and Control.  Dan came first.

Rob and I also played Warhammer 40 000, Dark Eldar and Tau, with Spearhead and Annihilation.  Rob had a lot of bad luck throughout the game (his first with his Dark Eldar), I came first.

Monday 20 December 2010:

Gareth, Mark, John (Robinson) with Dan played as one team and Rob, John (McDonnell), Carl and I played as the other team in a Warhammer 40 000 team game, Space Marines and Eldar against Tyranids, Imperial Guard, Dark Eldar and Tau, with Pitched Battle and Annihilation.  Each player put in 1000 points. The result was very close with the team I was on winning this enjoyable game.

Carl and Mark played Warhammmer 40 000, Dark Eldar and Space Marines, with Pitched Battle and Seize Ground (3 objectives).  Carl won this game, so far his new Dark Eldar army have not lost a game.

John (McDonnell) and Rob played Warhammer 40 000, Imperial Guard and Tyranids, with Spearhead and Capture & Control.  Rob won this game.

Gareth and Dan also played Warhammmer 40 000, Crimson Fists and Eldar, withPitched Battle and Annihilation.  Gareth won.

 

Monday 29 November 2010:

Carl and Rob played Warhammer 40 000, Dark Eldar and Tyranids, with Dawn of War and Annihilation.  Carl won this game.

John (McDonnell) and I played Warhammer 40 000, Space Marines and Tau, with Dawn of War and Seize Ground (4 objectives).  The game ended in a draw and John and I both held  one objective each and contested the other objectives. 

 

Monday 22 November 2010:

Anthony, Dan and John (McDonnell) played Warhammer 40 000, Eldar and Blood Angels, with Spearhead and Annihilation.  This finished in a draw.

Carl and John (Robinson) played Warhammer 40 000, Dark Eldar and Space Marines, with Spearhead and Capture & Control. Carl won this game.

Gareth, Mark and Rob and I played a team game of Warhammer 40 000, Crimson Fists and Space Marines against Tyranids and Tau (an odd pairing but it worked), Pitched Battle and Capture &  Control.  The game finished in a draw as we both had units on our objectives and eachothers.

 

Monday 15 November 2010:

Gareth and Mark played Warhammer 40 000 using the new board, Crimson Fists and Dark Angels, with Pitched Battle and Annihilation.  This game finished in a draw.

Dan, Anthony, Ryan and Jordan played a demonstration game of Warhammer 40 000, Eldar and 3 groups of my Imperiall Fists, with Spearhead and Seize Ground (4 objectives).  At the end of this enjoyable game Dan came out ahead.

Carl and I played Warhammer 40 000, Dark Eldar and Tau, with spearhead and Seize Ground (4 objectives).  This game finished in a draw, as we both held the same number of objectives, although if we had time for anotherturn Carl would probably have won.

 

Monday 8 November 2010:

Rob and I also played Warhammer 40 000, Tyranids and Tau, with Pitched Battle and Annilhilation.  Rob won.

John (Robinson) and Gareth Played Warhammer 40 000, Space Marines and Crinson Fists, with Pitched Battle and Annihilation.  Gareth won this game.

John (McDonnell) and I also played Warhammmer 40 000, Blood Angels and Tau, with Spearhead and Seize Ground (5 objectives).  John won the game.

 

Monday 25 October 2010:

John (McDonnell) Rob and Carl all played Infinity, there were no teams in this game and Carl won.

Gareth, John (Robinson) and Mark played as one team and Dan and I played as the other team in a 3500 point game of Warhammer

40 000, Crimson Fists, Space Marines and Dark Angels against Eldar and Tau, with Pitched Battle and Annihilation.  Unfortunately we were only able to complete two turns, but Dan and I had already come second in this game.

Gareth and Dan played Warhammmer 40 000, Crimson Fists and Eldar, with Dawn of War and Annihilation.  The result of this game was a draw.

John (McDonnell) and Rob also played Warhammmer 40 000, Blood Angels and Tyranids, with Spearhead and Capture and Control.  John won this game.

John (Robinson) and I palyed Warhammer 40 000, Space Marines and Tau, with Pitched Battle and Capture and Control.  Although both John and I controlled our own objectives Johns Drop pod was close enough to contest my objective, so John won.

 

Monday 11 October 2010:

Stephen and Jack (Waddington) and John (Robinson) played Warhammer 40 000, Imperial Guard and Space Marines, with Pitched Battle and Annihilation.  At the end of this enjoyable game John had won.

Dan and Anthony played a scenario mixing Warhammmer and Warhammer 40 000, Eldar and Goblins.  This mix of game systems resulted in Dan coming first.

John (McDonnell) and Mark played Warhammer 40 000, Blood Angels and Dark Angels, Pitched Battle and Annihilation.  By the end Mark had won this game.

Carl and Rob played Warhammer 40 000, Space MArines and Tyranids, with Pitched Battle and Annihilation.  Carl came first.

Gareth and I played Warhammer 40 000, Crimson Fists and Tau, with Pitched Battle and Capture and Control.  After an enjoyable game both Gareth and I controlled our own objectives but had not captured each others.

This was a very well attended club meeting.

 

Monday 4 October 2010:

Gareth and Dan with Anthony and Callum played Warhammer 40 000, Crimson Fists and Eldar and my Ultramarines and Imperial Fists, with Pitched Battle and Annihilation.  The four players were in teams of two and contributed 1500 points each to this demonstration game.  Dan and Gareth won.

Mark and John (Robinson) with Carl and John (McDonnell) played Warhammer 40 000, Dark Angels and Space Marines and Space Marines and Blood Angels, with Pitched Battle and Capture and Control.  The four players were in teams of two and contributed 1500 points each to this enjoyable game which Carl and John (McDonnell) won.

Unfortunately Stephen (Hamilton) and I did not get to play this week.  Mark visited the club for the first time along with Callum and Ryan.

 

Monday 27 September 2010:

John (McDonnell) and Rob played Warhammer 40 000, Blood Angels and Tyranids, with Spearhead and Annihilation.  Rob won.

Stephen (Hamilton) and Anthony played Wahammer, Dwarfs with Empire and Goblins with Dark Elves, with Pitched Battle deployment and mission type.  Stephen defended the Empire by winning this game.

Dan and Tristan(using my Imperial Fists) played Warhammer 40 000, Eldar and Imperial Fists, with Pitched Battle and Sieze ground (3 objectives).  Tristrans run of wins and draws came to an end as Dan won this game.

Gareth, John (Robinson) and I played Warhammer 40 000, Crimson Fists, Space Marines and Tau, with Spearhead and Annihilation. We each used 1000 points of our individual armies and played against each other, Gareth siezed the initiative from myself, the game was enjoyable and John won gaining several kill points, Gareth and i did not gain any unfortunately.

40 000, Blood Angels and Eldar, with Spearhead and Annihilation.  Anthony and Dan won the game.

Carl and I also played Warhammer 40 000, Space Marines and Tau, with Spearhead and Annihilation.  The game was enjoyable even though I, very much, came second.

   

Monday 13 September 2010:

John (McDonnell) and Stephen (Hamilton) played Stargrunt.  Stephen won this game.

Dan (guiding) Tristan played Warhammer 40 000 against John (Robinson), Eldar and Space Marines, With Pitched Battle and Annihilation.  The game resulted in a draw, which means that Tristan has still not lost a game, so has continued his run of three games and no losses which is very good for a beginner.

Carl and Rob with Stephen (Waddington) and Jack (Waddington) played Warhammer 40 000, Space Marines and Tyranids with Orks, with Pitched Battle and Capture and Control.  This Multi player game resulted in a draw.

Gareth and I played Warhammer 40 000, Crimson Fists and Tau, with Spearhead and Capture and Control.  Gareth did well throughout the game, I did not though as my Tau lost several units. The game ended in a draw as both Gareth and I held our own objectives.

 

Monday 6 September 2010:

John (McDonnell) and Hugo played Warhammer 40  000, Blood Angels and Blood Angels, with Dawn of War and Seize Ground (3 objectives), John won this game.

Carl and Stuart played Warhammmer 40 000, Space Marines and Raven Guard Space Marines, with Pitched Battle and Annihilation, Stuat won the game.

Dan and Tristran and I played a demonstration game of Warhammer 40 000, Eldar and Tau, with Spearhead and Capture and Control, to the delight of Tristran, Dan had helped to guide him to a second win.  Alll other members observed and Stephen and his son Jack also visited the club for the first time.  

 

Monday 23 August 2010:

John (McDonnell) and Gareth played Warhammer 40 000, Blood Angels and Crimson Fists, with spearhead and Seize Ground (4 objectives), John came first.

Stuart and James played a demonstration game of Warhammer 40 000, Raven Guard and Ultramarines, with Pitched Battle and annihilation, Stuart won.

Tristan, Dan and I played a demonstration game of Warhammer 40  000, Eldar and Tau, with Pitched Battle and Seize Ground (5 objectives), The Eldar controlled by Tristan and Dan, in Tristan's first game, came first as they controlled or contested more objectives at the end of the game.    

 

Monday 16 August 2010:

John (McDonnell) and Stephen (Hamilton) played a senario from the first Warhammer 40 000 rule book, Space Marines and Space Marines, the result of the game was a draw.

Gareth, Dan and I played Warhammer 40 000, Crimson Fists, Eldar and Ultramarines, with Spearhead and Seize Ground (5 objectives), we chose to play against each other with 1500 points each, the game was enjoyable and the result was a draw.

Stuart and I played John (McDonnell) and Carl, Space Marines and Tau against Blood Angels and Space Marines, with Pitched Battle and Sieze Ground (3 objectives), the game was enjoyable although John and Carl won.  All other members who were present watched.  Gareth visited the club for the first time. 

 

Monday 19 July 2010:

John (McDonnell) and Dan played, Eldar and Eldar.

Simon and Stuart and I played a demonstration game of Warhammer 40 000, My Imperial Fists and Tau, with Pitched Battle and Sieze Ground (3 objectives) Stuart guided Simon as they played against me, this enjoyable game ended in a draw.

This was Simons first game and visit to the club, James also visited the club for the first time.  All other members watched.

 

Monday 12 July 2010:

John (McDonnell) and Dan played Planetstrike, Blood Angels and Eldar.

Carl and I played, Space marines and Tau, with Pitched Battle and

Annihilation, Carl was first and I was second.

Stephen and John (Robinson) played Modern Combat Counter Insurgency, ser in Iraq, John playing the coalition won.

 

Monday 5 July 2010:

Carl and Dan played, Space Marines and Eldar, Carl won if I remember correctly. 

Stuart and John (Robinson) played, Space Marines and Tyranids, this resulted in a draw if I am correct.

John (McDonnell) and I played, Blood Angels and Tau, I came second.  Pitched Battle with Capture and Control.

 

Monday 28 June 2010:

Unfortunately I forgot my digital camera so there are not photographs of this weeks meeting, sorry.

John (Robinson) and I played, Space Marines and Tau, Sieze Ground (5 objectives) with Spearhead deployment, John had last turn resulting in me coming second at the end of the last turn as he eliminated two of my Fire Warrior teams (both on objectives).  Dispite this the game was thoroughly enjoyable.

Carl and John (McDonnell) played, Space Marines and Blood Angels, unfortunately I do not have anymore details.
